How to play Drop Blocks
Drop Blocks is a free falling-block puzzle in the browser on Play Online Games. Move and rotate the pieces to fill full rows, which then clear. Use the ghost piece to see where a block will land, and C to hold a piece for later.
Steps
- Move a piece left or right with the arrow keys, or by swiping on a phone.
- Rotate with Up or X, or tap the screen.
- Soft drop with Down or a short swipe down. Hard drop with Space or a long swipe down.
- Press C (or the Hold button) to save the current piece and swap it in later.
- Fill a full row to clear it. The game ends when the stack reaches the top.
Tips to play better
- Keep the stack flat. Bumps and holes are what end games.
- Leave one column open at the side for the long straight piece, then clear four rows at once.
- Check the ghost piece before every hard drop.
- Hold the long straight piece when you do not need it yet. It can rescue a bad board later.
- Rotate a piece before it reaches the stack, not at the last moment.
