Klondike Solitaire tips and how to play
Klondike Solitaire is free in the browser on Play Online Games. No download and no account. Use Draw 1 or Draw 3, undo, hint, and a timer. Empty columns take Kings. Double-click sends a card up.
Steps
- Build four foundations from Ace to King, one suit each.
- On the tableau, stack cards in descending rank with alternating colors.
- Click or drag a card to a legal pile. Double-click sends a card to its foundation.
- Empty columns take Kings only.
- Draw from the stock with Draw 1 or Draw 3. Undo if you want a different line.

What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
Draw 1 turns one stock card at a time. Draw 3 turns three and plays the top card. Draw 1 is easier. Both modes are on the same play page.
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Use Undo on the Solitaire toolbar. The timer keeps running.
Can I drag cards and get a hint?
Yes. Drag cards to a legal pile, or click to select and click a pile. Hint shows a useful move. Send up moves every card that can go to the foundations.
What are some Klondike Solitaire tips?
Prefer Draw 1 while you learn. Empty columns take Kings only, so do not clear a column unless you have a King. Undo is on the toolbar if a line goes dead. Double-click a card to send it to its foundation.
