How to play Mahjong Connect
Mahjong Connect is free in the browser on Play Online Games. Click two matching tiles to clear them if a path with no more than two turns joins them. The path can run around the outside of the board. Clear all 96 tiles to win.
Steps
- Click or tap a tile, then click its matching tile.
- The pair clears if a line with at most two turns connects them without crossing other tiles.
- The line can go around the outside edge of the board.
- The path flashes when a match is made.
- Use Hint to find a pair. If no moves are left, the board reshuffles.
Tips to play better
- Start at the edges and corners. Clearing them opens the most new paths.
- Look for pairs that are next to each other or in a straight line first.
- Remember the outside route. Tiles on the same edge often connect around the board.
- Clear tiles that block several other pairs before easy pairs that block nothing.
- Save Hint for when you are really stuck. Finding pairs yourself trains your eye.
