How to play Prompt Brawl: Knight Forge
Prompt Brawl is a free timed quiz and knight battle game. Build a knight by answering math, word, general knowledge and logic questions. Play against an easy, normal or hard bot, pass one device between two players, or challenge the daily boss.
Steps
- Vs Bot and Normal are selected for you. Random knight names are ready to use, edit or reroll. Tap Start, or choose 2 Players or Daily Boss. Local multiplayer uses one device.
- Each player gets eight questions: three Words questions and five balanced across Math, Knowledge and Logic, with a 2/2/1 split. Choose an answer with touch, mouse or keys 1 to 4. Each question has 12 seconds.
- Correct answers equip the next piece: helmet, chestplate, shield, sword, boots, gauntlets, cape and crest. Defense totals 13 with a full set. Sword, gauntlets and crest raise attack from 12 to 20.
- A correct answer within six seconds earns one energy. Wrong answers or timeouts cost six health. Feedback appears for about 1.2 seconds, then the next question starts automatically. You still complete all eight questions.
- After forging, both knights fight automatically in every mode, with one action about every 0.8 to 1.2 seconds. There are no move buttons or battle handoffs. Strike deals attack minus rival defense, with a small variation of minus one, zero or plus one and a minimum of three damage. Power Strike costs two energy and adds ten damage before defense.
- Knights sometimes Guard when health is low. Guard heals up to four health and reduces the next incoming hit by 60 percent, rounded up with a minimum of one damage. Consecutive guards are not allowed. Fast quiz answers earn the energy used for Power Strikes.
- Watch until one knight reaches zero health, or use Skip fight to resolve the same battle immediately without changing its result. After 40 turns, remaining health decides the winner; equal health is a draw. The winner screen has Play Again. Daily clears reset at local midnight and old math-game saves are not changed.
Tips to play better
- Read all four answers. Correct answers equip the next armor piece, even if earlier answers were wrong.
- A correct answer within six seconds earns one energy. Two energy powers a heavy strike.
- Helmet, chestplate and shield build defense. The sword and gauntlets increase attack.
- Knights choose their own moves. Guard restores up to four health and reduces the next hit by 60 percent. A knight cannot guard twice in a row.
- The daily boss changes at local midnight. Progress and completed days stay on this browser only.

Yes. Play it in the browser on Play Online Games. No download and no account.
How does the global leaderboard work?
Vs Bot and Daily Boss runs can be published after a match with Publish score. Two-player runs are not ranked. Use a 2 to 16 character nickname, not personal details. Today and All-time show the top 20. Today resets at 00:00 UTC, separately from the device-local daily boss reset.
How is my ranked score calculated?
Earn 100 points per correct answer and 20 per fast correct answer within six seconds. A win adds 150 points. A normal-bot win adds 50 more, a hard-bot win adds 100 more, and a daily-boss win adds 200 more. The maximum is 1210 against a hard bot or 1310 against the daily boss. Your ranked local best is saved even if you do not publish or the server is unavailable.
Are global scores verified?
No. These are casual self-reported scores, not verified competition results. The server checks allowed ranges and the scoring formula, filters names and limits submissions using a salted IP hash. The leaderboard score store never records raw IP addresses. Hosting access logs are separate and unchanged.
Is the multiplayer online?
No. Two players share one device and pass it once between their quiz sets. After both knights are forged, the automatic battle needs no handoffs. No server, account or internet opponent is involved.
How do the bot levels work?
The bot answers its own eight questions independently. Easy has 45 percent accuracy with delays of 5.6 to 10.2 seconds; normal has 70 percent with 3.6 to 8 seconds; hard has 90 percent with 2.2 to 5.1 seconds. These are probabilities, not guaranteed match scores.
Does Prompt Brawl use live AI?
No. Questions come from an original reviewed bank and generated arithmetic. Knights are built from original SVG armor pieces. Bot decisions run locally in the browser.
When does the daily boss change?
At midnight in the time zone of your device. The boss and quiz selection are fixed for that local date. Retry as often as you like; a completed day is remembered only in this browser.
Can I use a phone or keyboard?
Yes. Tap answers or use keys 1 to 4. The battle runs on its own. You can Tab to Skip fight, Play Again and other buttons, then use Enter or Space. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
